Ok I know I started out by saying a 101 reason but I decided to narrow this thing down to my Top 40 reasons to say F* Valentine... I hope you enjoy ;-$

#1- WTF is it anyway & why is it a holiday? or "holly day" last I heard it was to honor saints MARTYRED oh da irony

#4- Because she spent the night with me last night! #sucka

#5- Because Love is simple and well frankly darling I'm just too damn complex for that shii

#6- Because I got too many h*ez to buy em all somethin.. Limh jk

#7- Because 9 times out of 10 you were her 2nd choice.. smh

#8- ...Or 3rd or 4th... Hah!

#9- It was a beautiful sunny 70 degrees in the ATL... need I say more

#11- Valentine has never been widely celebrated in Africa.. Time to get bck to our roots #blackhistorymonth

#20- (cousin to 19) Because you can barely finish celebrating Christmas before the stores start shoving this crap down your throat.. Holidays have become more about big business than the reason behind the celebration.

#21- Because As a people we spend more money & time in 1 day on Vday than we do Celebrating Our Beautiful Heritage all month. Its morning people time to wake up!

#22- Because of what one of my homeboys (@IsaacHayes3) tweeted -"I didn't get ONE Happy VDay from anybody 2day. I did all the reachn out. SMDH. #NoLove"

#23- Because Magic City be popping on Mondays! (sn: I know you trick azz nigz is real confused this evening)

#24- Because Women dont ever rack their brain about surprising the guy they like with something nice.. Fck a 1sided holiday!

#25- Because with all this destruction, chaos, poverty, climate changes all ovr the world..but u mad cause you dont have a date!? selfishMF Owww you make me sick ThrowUp!

#26- The P will b no different today than it was yesterday & wht it will be tomorrow #fact

#27- Because there are no rules! WTF is a valentine.. It don't mean gf bf/ hell it dont even mean sex.. and when does it end how long will we be valentine?

#28- Because there is no incentive for a man to care about this holiday even if he does care abt you.

#29- Because The most meaningful gifts are those given when they are least expected.

#30- Because I plan on breaking up with yo azz in the spring anyway! The Promenade/ Yard about to be JUMPIN (that was for #AUC #HBCU people) lol

#31- Because @DjPnutMusic tweeted -"Fellas- a lot of single ladies here at the Fox Sports Grill!!!"

#32- Because I would rather for us to act like tonight never happen so today will never happen.

#33- Because @Yazzy tweeted -"Im not ungrateful but these flowers stink I keep moving them but they're about to be outside"

#34- Because We all know this phrase is bs "its the thought that counts"... secretly they saying "thinking should have lead to a better gift"

#35- In the words of T.I. "Cable bill 30 damn dollars shawty do I hv to do everything around this mutha.. flip a matress change a light bulb do something" lol

#36- Doesn't valentine fall on your time of the month? Im just saying...

#37- Because Stupid rhymes with Cupid

#38- Teddy bears just collect dust, chocolate makes you gain weight and we already went over this flower thing(ref 14&33)... Need I continue on.

#39- Because If people really wanted to celebrate the concept, idea or their feeling of Love... The public would be pushing for it to become a nationally recognized holiday... No school no work... But saying that sounds ridiculous does it not!?!

And The Top Reason.. Number 40!- I wrote a Poem called

What is it anyway

Nothing trumps showing you care

But F Valentine Shawty

I'd rather be getting paid

Love is priceless

But it cost nothing to give away

So F Valentine Shawty

Why not give it everyday.
